Thanks to in-house design and flow optimization, the assembly of Italcab cabins is sequenced with a precise logical and chronological order, similar to the automotive sector, ensuring a progressive and optimal process.
After completing the preparatory stages, such as glass bonding and door pre-assembly, the subsequent assembly activities are carried out: wiring, plastic parts, external materials, adjustments and testing.
All of this is done with ergonomic, optimized, selected, and constantly updated equipment to ensure they never become obsolete.
Operators within a standard line are trained to work in balanced phases according to the process, with specific workstations based on production needs and work cycles.
Each operator can work in different phases, with flexibility and versatility.
Additional factors of flexibility are generated by listening to the customer's needs regarding the methods and types of finishing during the final stages of cabin completion.
Each cabin is a unique story, filled with challenges and optimizations that are continuously adapted.
In the assembly department, what truly makes the difference is the people.
It's the hands and eyes of our operators!
Due to the nature of the product which changes over time, we choose to ensure constant training and interchangeability for our operators, with a focus on respecting and valuing each individual's skills and aptitudes.
Continuous training, listening, sharing, flexibility, adaptability, and continuous improvement make the Italcab cabin production process smooth, with the goal of consistently reducing the number of non-conformities.
The search for a cohesive and skilled team is always open.
