ITALCAB SPA, with its registered office at via I Maggio, 2 – 31050 Monastier (TV), contactable by email at italcab@italcab.com, in its capacity as the data controller (hereafter “Controller”), provides the following information to the Data Subject in compliance with European and Italian regulations on personal data protection.
Purpose and legal basis of processing
The Data Controller processes the personal data of the Supplier/Customer in order to adopt pre-contractual measures, fulfill contractual and regulatory obligations related to the commercial relationship, manage any disputes and, in general, correctly manage the commercial relationship.
The legal basis of the processing is constituted by the need for the pursuit of the above-mentioned purposes.
Data Retention Period
The Data Controller will process the Supplier/Client's data for the entire duration of the commercial relationship and, subsequently, for the completion of all obligations connected with or arising from the establishment of said relationship, for the period prescribed by law and in accordance with the statute of limitations for rights arising from the commercial relationship. This is without prejudice to further retention for the time necessary to resolve any disputes that may have arisen, regardless of how they are ultimately settled.
Nature of Data Provision and Consequences of Refusal
The provision of data is necessary; therefore, any refusal to provide it, in whole or in part, may result in the inability of the Data Controller to pursue the purposes mentioned above.
Categories of Recipients
The Data Controller will not disseminate the data but intends to disclose it to authorized internal personnel based on their respective duties, as well as to credit institutions, professionals or service companies, and public or private entities, including during inspections and audits.
These recipients, if they process data on behalf of the Data Controller, will be appointed as Data Processors through a specific contract or other legal act.
Transfer of Data to a Third Country and/or International Organization
Personal data will not be transferred to non-European third countries or international organizations.
Data Subject Rights
The data subject has the right to request from the Data Controller access to their personal data and to rectify it if inaccurate, to delete it, or to restrict its processing if the conditions are met. They also have the right to object to its processing for legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller and to obtain the portability of the data they have personally provided, but only if it is subject to automated processing based on consent or a contract.
The data subject also has the right to withdraw consent granted for processing purposes that require it, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
